Upcoming 2009-2010 Season

Hello present and future Pacwest players. The season is coming soon. Player  league entry fees are a little different this year. All rookie league entry fees are $100 and veteran league entry fees are $70 for the season. Half of the league entry fees are due by the draft ( October 11th ), and the rest of the league entry fees are due by the first game ( October 24th ). Every player is required to pay all fees ( past and present ) before you even step on the field. NO PAY, NO PLAY!!! If you are a veteran, you need to contact the  captain of your team from last season, or just call Kurtis so he can get you on the list to play this season.

League Voting

This year we are changing a few things. For instance, the MVP will be voted on this year. I want the league to voice their opinion. But there is one stipulation to this. Your MVP vote has to be one of the top ten on the MVP list. Also this year, we will be voting on an offensive player of the year, defensive player of the year, and rookie of the year. There is a page with all the rookies for this year along with there stats link next to there name. Last of all, the pro bowl rosters are posted for both divisions. I will need three players from each division as your vote-ins for the pro bowl.

Games Rescheduled

All games from December 20TH are rescheduled for January 17TH. The new schedule is posted in the schedule page. Make sure to pass the information on to everyone .

Stats Posted

Well, it’s still a work in progress, but the stats from the first game have been posted. There’s a link next to each player’s name that opens up the stats in a new window.

We’re still working on entering the Game 2 stats, and the stats from past seasons. We’re also working on a page to show the overall team standings and league stat leaders (MVP, etc.) in one place.

Pac West Flag Football League 2008-2009

FEES:

• There will be a 50$ fee due 7/27/08. Then there will be another 50$ fee due 9/13/08. Only check or money orders and you can make it out to Pac West Flag Football. You may mail your check or money order to 8409 St. Helens Ave Vancouver, Wa 98664. Please make sure all money is turned in on time so Jerseys, Refs , and Fields our paid on time.

EQUIPMENT:

The footwear you choose is up to you. You’ll be at a severe disadvantage to other players if you do not wear cleats. They can be molded, or screw-ins, but absolutely no metal cleats allowed. Period. Your customized jersey is yours, and you get to keep it! Flags are provided by the league and are to be turned in at the end of each game. All league cones, balls, whistles, flags, pullovers, water cooler, tents, and any other related equipment is not to leave the field unless PREVIOUSLY authorized by the commissioner.

FIELD UNIFORM:

Jersey, any standard sweat pants, shorts (remove or tuck in draw strings), or football pants (no pads). Flags are available on-site and are to be returned to the bins at the end of the game. Undershirts are not to be longer then flag belt, and you will be asked to tuck them in.

LEAGUE OFFICE HOURS:

• Monday thru Friday, 4:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
• Saturday, 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.
• Sunday, 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Your stats are safe

Pac West veterans seeing the site now might be wondering what happened to their statistics from past seasons.  We still have them, and we’ll be posting them when we figure out the best way.  The old way might have looked good, but it was a pain in the butt to maintain.  We’ll keep you posted here on what we end up doing to keep track of stats moving forward.  Thanks for your patience!
